About Mandy
For more than 30 years, I have devoted my life to caring for others—first as a nurse, then as a nurse educator at the university level. My journey eventually led me to serve as a part-time chaplain within a health system, where I witnessed firsthand the profound emotional and spiritual challenges that come with loss. These experiences deepened my calling to walk alongside people in their grief, blending my medical knowledge with compassionate, faith-informed support.
Today, as a certified grief counselor, I am bringing together my nursing, teaching, and chaplaincy backgrounds to offer clients a safe, understanding space to process their loss and begin to heal. I have long dreamed of opening a private practice dedicated to empathetic, personalized grief care—and I am honored to see that dream becoming reality.
I hold a special passion for supporting families who have experienced the loss of an infant or child, as well as working with women navigating grief in all its forms. My goal is to meet each person where they are, offering presence, understanding, and hope as they find their way forward.
- During my time off, I enjoy afternoons floating in the pool, reading a good book, walking my pups, and playing the occasional round of golf with the hubs.
